Sugar Cookies

Found a great recipe for Sugar Cookies. Enjoy!

• 2 sticks butter, room temperature
• 1 1/4 cups sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Cream butter and sugar with mixer. Add eggs one at a time. Add the dry ingredients and mix with a big spatula before mixing the dough with the mixer. Refrigerate the dough for at least three days in advance.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice dough into thin circles. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. Cool, then frost.

1 Week!

I will be in Ann Arbor in exactly one week from now! Since our carpets are being cleaned, I have been somewhat forced to get all my stuff into a corner. TV, Fridge, Micro, Storage Bins... I hope I don't forget anything. Any suggestions?

2 Weeks and counting

13 days until move-in day, and I found a couch. My black and white theme is going to go quite smoothly! I'm excited, but I'm starting to get a little nervous for classes... Whatever. It'll be great. :)

3 Weeks

Everything is starting to feel very real! I am officially in a single room.

Most of my dorm items have been purchased and I'm about ready to go. 3 weeks left!
